Family Support

Children Adolescent and Family Services (CAFS) is a free and voluntary program funded by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) which gives support to children, young people, and families.

• provides support in a safe and culturally respectful way, understanding that every child, young person, and family is different.

• is flexible and focused on what works best for you, helping children, young people, and families feel heard, supported, and part of their community.

Families & Youth (0-17 years)

• Individual support plans

• Advice & Support

• Counselling

• Parenting Programs

• Information, referral, advocacy and liasion with other services

• Home and community visits

• Experienced and skilled family case worker to work alongside you, your family and young people.

Intensive Family Preservation Program

This program is for families who need a more extensive level of support and can only be referred by DCJ

 Individual support plans with full time allocated family & youth workers

• Advice & Support

• Counselling

• Parenting programs

• Information, referral, advocacy and liason with other services

• Home and community visits

• Experienced and skilled family case worker to work alongside you, your family and young people
